prepping to leave for the Iowa Writer's Festival Saturday... I can't wait. I'm so excited about both my solitary time out of my set, and my time to focus solely on one thing, and the course itself.

Comment on the album Polymer Clay covered glass votivesThese are gorgeous, Sue! I'm a candle fanatic, especially when the lights plays with color. I've never seen polymer clay on votives - this is the kind of candle I love. I've seen a lot of wax covered glass that reminds me of these votives. Have you seen the candles Airwick puts out during the holidays with a color-changing light in the bottom that turns on when lit? I went nuts over these this past holiday season. If you haven't seen them, you'll want to - they are fun.

Thanks, Christine! This piece is in "The Beader's Color Palette." Thanks for joining the group. You will be alb to create stunning pieces if you keep practicing and making jewelry and studying what works and what doesn't. I promise!

working on "The Creative Journey" chapter in my book, "The Beader's Guide to Jewelry Design". This is one of my favorite chapters because it is about my favorite subject: creativity and how to manage and manifest it... and it involves passion. Anything that engages my passion is fun for me.
