• Polymer clay - Use a strong polymer such as Premo, Fimo or Kato Polyclay, in colors of your choice.
• Scrap Clay
• Graphite paper
• Sketch paper
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Fabric with linen like texture I am using organza
• A pasta machine
• Small Ruler
• Double point knitting needle
• Stylus tool with small ball
• Spoon or bone folder
• Carving tools Speedball V gouge or Dockyard V gouge
• Clay Blade
• Craft knife
• Acrylic Rod
• Kato Polyclay liquid clay
• Low grit sand paper
• E6000 Adhesive

Choose your substrate for mounting your clay painting.
Here are a few options:
1. Traditional frame
2. Deep Artist Panel by Ampersand
3. Art Boards, masionite, or fiber boards, or can be used as a substrate for your painting.
The options for a substrate are endless. I have used ceramic tile and tin panels.
