Jane Zhao is a multi-talented Artist. She believes that everyone has a talent even if it takes a few attempts at different things to figure out what it is. No matter what your talent is, practice is the key to success. She loves to share her gift through painting and polymer clay.

Jane enjoys painting landscapes, seascapes, floral and portraits in different types of media. She is inspired by nature and people. Her mind never stops. She is always thinking of the next new project. She finds polymer clay to be an exciting media to work with. It allows you to make projects both 2D and 3D. In Jane’s world, there are no mistakes…just happy accidents. Jane’s technique combines painting and polymer clay to make canes, jewelry, sculptures and home décor. Her attention to detail transforms simple pieces into fine works of art.

Before coming to the United States, Jane was a chemical engineer and Chinese landscape painter. She is a certified instructor in all levels of oil and acrylic painting. Her Polymer Clay works of art are featured in many books and magazines. She currently teaches painting and polymer clay techniques in several arts and crafts stores. She is also a “traveling teacher” sharing her art and passion with the world. Jane speaks fluent Chinese and English.
