Daniel Torres Mancera
Nature, big and small, in endless curves and swirls, exploding into blobby forms and dangerous, infinite spires... from the geometrical shape of a virus, the impossible symmetry of radiolaria, to the softness and uniqueness of seashells and caterpillars. Beauty gets to be so when we share it!
Polymer clay! It is so full of possibilities, so versatile... any single jewellery technique that has been there for thousands of years can be absorbed and re-interpreted by it. It can come out in sturdy yet light pieces, make a statement and still be subtle to the eye... it goes perfect with any material in the world, its structural properties have but begun to be explored and, best of all, it is so easy and fun to work with!
