Julie Eakes is a polymer clay artist. She has been working with the medium for over five years.

In the late 90's, Julie worked as a computer modeler and animator, while creating a computer adventure game, Morpheus. This background helped her visualize and produce her intricate polymer clay canes.

Julie specializes in face canes and the variety of ways of presenting the image in canework. Examples of her work can be found in Lisa Pavelka's book, The Complete Book of Polymer Clay. Julie teaches her face cane classes around the country, and writes her thoughts and displays her newest work on her blog.
