Linda Lum DeBono
Linda first gained notoriety as a designer of bright and funky quilts. Along the way, she has shown her diverse talents by authoring books, knitting and scrapbooking and by exploring other color ranges as well. The phenomenal use of color and texture in her work is what makes her designs so special.
After graduating with a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and working in the pharmaceutical industry for a few years, she and her husband moved to New Jersey for his job. Linda then taught herself how to sew and soon after, she designed her first pattern, Believe. She showed her patterns at her first Quilt Market when she was 6 months pregnant and it has been one awesome ride.
Since debuting her patterns to the world, she has designed fabric for Henry Glass in NYC. She has authored several books for Martingale/That Patchwork Place and Leisure Arts. Her work is seen in the wonderful pages of American Patchwork and Quilting, and Quilts and More.
