Our Pansy Leaf cane uses:
- 2 oz Green (I used Spanish Olive)
- 2 oz White
- 2 oz black

Each Pansy flower uses a little wrap and filler clay so we’ll also need:
-4 oz Black to use to wrap our blends
-4 oz of the “filler” and background color you like.

Violet Intricate Pansy rolled blend uses:
For our flower color rolled blend:
- 2 oz Violet
- 2 oz White
Accent color rolled blend:
- 2 oz Yellow
- 2 oz Green
*We use this blend for some of the pansy centers too.
Petal Center rolled blend used in both Violet and the Red pansy:
- 2 oz Purple
- 2 oz White

Fuchsia Intricate Pansy rolled blend uses:
For our flower color rolled blend:
- 2 oz Fuchsia
- 2 oz White
Accent color rolled blend used in both Fuchsia and Red pansy:
- 2 oz Yellow
- 2 oz White
Petal Center rolled blend used in both Fuchsia and the Bright pansy:
- 2 oz White - 2 oz Purple
*We use this blend for some of the Pansy centers too.

Red Intricate Pansy fan fold blend uses half of this blend, the other half is used for the Bright pansy cane:
- 2 oz Red
- 2 oz Orange
- 2 oz Yellow Accent color rolled blend - use half of what was made for the Fuchsia pansy.
Petal Center rolled blend – use half of what was made for the Violet pansy.

Orange Intricate Pansy fan fold blend uses:
- 2 oz Orange
- 2 oz Yellow
- 4 oz White (2 oz to make a rolled blend with some of the fan fold blend) - 1 oz Purple
*The Accent and Center colors are already built into the fan fold so nothing additional is needed for this version.

Bright Intricate Pansy fan fold and rolled blend cane uses:
Flower color blend:
- 2 oz Blue - 2 oz White AND
- half of the red blend made for the Red pansy cane
Petal Accent color uses:
-2 oz solid yellow
Petal Center rolled blend half of same used the Fuchsia pansy.

Blended Intricate Pansy cane fan fold blend uses:
- 2 oz Peacock
- 2 oz Yellow
- 2 oz Purple
- 2 oz White
*The Accent and Center colors are already built into the fan fold so nothing additional is needed for this version.

Cathy Harm has been hooked on polymer clay since 2000 when she learned that no kiln was needed to fire polymer clay, that was all she needed to hear to explore and develop a love for this limitless medium. I am having problems viewing the classes. Any suggestions?

The classes should play fine across all common browsers and operating systems. The only technical requirement is a fairly recent version of the Adobe Flash Player. You can download the latest player for free at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ . For best possible viewing experience, we recommend above average Internet connections.

If you are experiencing problems such as delays, chopping, freezing or browser crashing, please make sure that you have the latest flash version and are on a stable and fairly good connection. It will also very often help to empty your browser cache.

If you are on a recent flash version, with a good connection, have emptied your cache and still have problems viewing the class, please contact us!

For how long can I access my courses?

Forever. Your access to your CraftArtEdu classes never expires.  You can watch them anytime and as many times you would like.

How do I access the class after purchasing it?

Your class is available to view from your account under “My Account."

I am having problems accessing the class handout.

The class handouts are PDF's  If there is an instructor hand out for your class, it will be in your account on the View Class page link under Material Links.

After taking a class, are you then allowed to use the technique to produce pieces to sell, as long as you reference that it was a technique learned from whoever taught the class? 

"Yes, students can produce work to sell - teachers know that they are putting techniques out there for their students to use. The hope is that the student will apply techniques to create their own unique spin on them, but we cannot take money from students and then say "you can't do that."  We do ask that they give credit to the originator." - Donna Kato

Lovely canes Review by Gillian

I liked these canes a lot. The instructions are quite exact and easy to follow for anyone with any experience making canes at all. BUT - the first cane instruction leaves out the very center spot; you get how to make all the petal colors, but not what color/size to use for the green/yellow center. I figured it out with ease, but it was not in the lesson. So perhaps an addendum or a comment is needed? (Posted on 5/3/14)
