Learn how to make a colorful, eye-catching pin that moves and changes designs as you wear it! In this class, you will create a pin with a small see-through element and some decorative discs that spin on top of each other when the pin moves. In addition, you will learn how to add shading to give your piece more depth, dimension and a professional finish.

Class Materials List

Polymer Clay:
• 1pck black
• 1pck each of white, yellow, orange, cyan and purple

• PolyPaste (or liquid clay)

Tools:
• Pasta Machine
• Clay blade and scalpel
• Small ceramic tile
• Round cookie cutters
• 10 mm, 20 mm, 30-35 mm
• Black oil paint (I use Genesis paints)
• Stencil brush (stiff)
• Small flat paint brush (soft)
• Texture sponge (like Clay-Yo)
• One or two more shallow textures
• Buna cord 2mm (~ 4 inches)
• 400 grit sandpaper
• Hand drill in the size of your cord
• Pin back (~25mm wide)
• Super glue
