Megan Milliken

As a child, Megan Milliken once exclaimed to a neighbor, “Crafts are my life!” While much has changed in Megan's life as she has grown up, creating handcrafted goodies has remained a primary focus. Always itching to try new techniques, she has learned and mastered many different crafts – from beading, to sewing, to mixed media, and beyond.

Megan loves to let the materials direct the form of a new design. Looking at the different components available to create with can be a truly inspiring process. Her style is feminine and contemporary, with flashes of vintage flair. And whether carefully planned out or pieced together on the fly, her attention to detail and quality craftsmanship always results in pieces that are meant to be cherished for years to come.

Megan has been designing jewelry, clothing, and accessories nearly her whole life. She studied costume design at The University of Hawaii while pursuing her degree in theatre arts, and she also studied fashion design at Parsons, The New School for Design. Megan is a jewelry designer on the staff at Beadaholique.com.
