Celina Mancurti

Life in itself provides an infinite amount of inspiration. Whether it is your travels around the world, where you currently reside, or traditions within your family, those experiences go into the decisions you make as an artist. That is why Celina Mancurti is so passionate about hand-screen printing and handcrafting linens.

Every detail is an exciting part of the process -- from the selection of designs and colors to the hand-picked buttons and packaging. It is in her studio where Celina allows her inspiration run free to wholeheartedly engage in the creative process. Coupled with her inspiration is the importance of eco-friendly materials -- water-based inks and organic fibers -- to create sustainable linens that will last for generations to come. Original and with designs offered in a limited-edition, Celina has produced fully green and handcrafted collections including fabrics, tea towels, and kitchen linens.

Celina Mancurti has had a career in the textile and fashion industry for over 10 years, and left the business world in 2009 to follow her passion for textiles. Now owner and designer of her own line, she devotes most of her time to her studio, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to share her craft with the CraftArtEdu community. She was an instructor in 2010 at The Creative Connection and has taught a variety of screen printing classes around the country.
