Paola Mattioli has been an Art Clay Silver certified teacher since 2012. She has participated as a teacher at major Italian events dedicated to the creative arts. Her work received a special mention in the Metal Clay Challenge Europe, and she was published in Metal Clay Artist.

Paola Mattioli

Paola Mattioli was born in Rome where she lives and works. In 1993, she received a degree in stage design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Restorer of antique furniture and paintings from 1999, she collaborated with the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and taught professional courses in wood restoration in the Region of Lazio.

A love for art in all its forms has led Paola to create jewelry by using and experimenting with different materials and techniques like wire, beading, enamels on metal foil, polymer clay and metal clay which she teaches in her studio. She's part of the metal clay community in Europe with whom she loves to meet and compete.

Paola has been an Art Clay Silver certified teacher since 2012. She has participated as a teacher at major Italian events dedicated to the creative arts (Hobby Show, Arte e Mestieri, Abilmente). Her piece "Underwater Ring" received a special mention in Metal Clay Challenge Europe. She wan published in the American magazine “Metal Clay Artist” in August of 2013. In October 2013, her ring "Germogli- shoots" was exhibited in the Museum of Tokyo and published in “Silver Accessories Contest 2013”, catalogue of international reference for artists of Art Clay Silver.
